Follow the steps to get the Perfect Fit

SLIDE FILTER IN

Insert Activated Carbon Filter:

  • Current single adult and kids N99 masks include four replacement filters. Use one filter at a time.
  • Insert one clean, dry filter fully into the pocket inside the mask and make sure it lies flat.
  • Filters are not washable. Replace the filter every 21 days or 100 hours of use, whichever comes first, or sooner if it becomes wet, visibly dirty, damaged, misshapen, develops an odour, no longer controls noticeable odour, becomes harder to breathe through, or has been exposed to unusually heavy dust, smoke or pollution.

NOSE FOAM SIDE UP

Position the Mask:

  • Place the foam edge at the top over your nose.
  • Centre the mask so it covers your nose, mouth and chin.

ADJUST EAR LOOP

Adjust Both Ear Loops:

  • Place the ear loops over your ears.
  • Slide both adjusters evenly until the mask feels secure and comfortable.

ADJUST NOSE CLIP

Shape the Nose Pin:

  • Shape the nose pin around your nose after positioning the mask.
  • Check that the mask edges sit close to your face without obvious gaps.

Washing the Mask

Remove the filter before washing. Hand-wash the mask body in cool to lukewarm water with mild detergent, rinse gently and air-dry completely. Do not wash the filter, machine wash, tumble dry or bleach.
